Blog Post 3

The original photo was of a tree. What i ended up doing was altering it into a completely different photo making almost look like water. Elements in this photo include movement, shape, lines, color, unity, and asymmetrical balance. The purple shapes on the side are thrown in randomly to make it seem as if there is chaos on one side but on the other side it is still somewhat put togeather, the movement of the purple shapes makes you want to follow into the yellow side. Also although one side is pretty much all yellow you can still see splotches of purple in it which is a good sign of color because without the purple in the yellow it would seem kind of strange to have a totally purple section in the photo. The asymmetrical balance is obvious.

Over summer I discovered something inspiring! It allows me to expand my art and also it makes me excited to make art. My style of art is bizarre  cause i like to take something completely normal and transform it into something other worldly. The tool I discovered were a few things on a website that allowed me to take my art to another level.

This photo was initially blades of grass. With the tool I found I altered the photo and made it more intriguing to the viewer. Some elements include color, emphasis, depth, line, and movement. There are cool tones on the bottom and contrasting one tone at the top. There is emphasis and depth because the blades in the front are more detailed than the blurred blades in the back. I used line with the blades of grass and that caused movement to lead the viewer throughout the photo.
