The Field Trip to MIAD really inspired me to follow through with my illustration art work I do. Seeing other people create something similar to mine was really exciting for me since I never had confidence in my kind of art work. While we were in the vicinity of the Third Ward I saw so much art all around the town, up top i have 3 photos i took and 3 photos of Robert D. Cocke's art pieces. I choose these photos cause i found the simplicity so strong especially in The World photo. I choose these pieces of art work cause even know there made by the same people they all have a different style to them. For the 1st photo i found the colors to be my favorite thing, I'm the kind of person who likes vibe in there art and seeing this i found it perfect. The 2nd piece is my favorite, cause if you look up close there not all on the same piece of paper, they're all in sections made with either the same color or a different color, the illustration is my favorite part since its my kind of style. The last piece of art is amazing. The reality of the picture is breath taking, the balance is so strong within the color and the landscape.

Wisconsin Arts Board

Wisconsin Arts Board Website:

I explored this site more than i thought i would when i got to the homepage i didnt find the website very appealing. But after clicking around for awhile i found a bunch of art that i really liked that made me find that speacial spark i was looking for.

Portal Wisconsin

After visiting the website Portal wisconsin I really was tempted to start making art right away. I mainly payed attention to the graphic arts section because thats what I want to expand my art career in. I also learned new styles that I really like other than abstract.

Illustrations by Atrick Bower
The pieces above are some more i found online that caught my eye. I really like the one that says blue is the new black because it reminds me of a t-shirt design which i like alot because i really like designing clothing for people to wear. The other pieces of art i like because they're so different then other kinds of art.

When it comes to making art colors are my favorite part. Colors make the art stand out they give the piece feeling in my opinon. The middle and the top pieces are my favorite because they are the most abstract.

Crazy Snail

Abstract drawings are my favorite because they can be so interesting. I like how you can look in different places and see something you havent seen and then look in another place and see something new again. The part that catches my eye the most is the left corner because it is different than every thing else.

These are Pen Drawings By Juan Francisco

The first one is titled: Crazy Minnie Mouse

The second is titled: Pen Mania

When i first saw these i thought that they were just photos but as i read the description i was blown away to find out that they are drawn with pen. Art like this really enspires me to give it my all becasue it shows how amazing you can really become if you just practice.

Crazy Chalk Art

I admire the drawings above because they are so realistic and they are from such a basic drawing material. I love how they make you think if the drawing is real or not.

For this photo i took a picture of a tree from the ground, the idea i had for this photo was to make it make you think, as if the photo was a picture of water. The photo contains an asymmetrical balance that makes you wonder what the big black blob is. It's the tree just so you know. The leaves in the middle make your eyes follow the colors that stand out which is a form of movement.

These designs are really interesting because they take a thing thats already been made and then make it into something different. Like the Star wars design that is put onto a shirt. Or the one with the skull that has the bright colors. I like this kind of art because you wouldnt usually see it because people usually dont draw a skull that is all colorful.

This is another finished piece of mine. The original was of my little cousin blowing a bubble. It would be cool for this to be turned into a tee shirt design.

The original photo was of grass and a bubble.

There is a good use of line and movement that leads you throughout the photo. The colors makes the over all mood to be kind of sickly.

The original photo was of a tree. What i ended up doing was altering it into a completely different photo making almost look like water. Elements in this photo include movement, shape, lines, color, unity, and asymmetrical balance. The purple shapes on the side are thrown in randomly to make it seem as if there is chaos on one side but on the other side it is still somewhat put togeather, the movement of the purple shapes makes you want to follow into the yellow side. Also although one side is pretty much all yellow you can still see splotches of purple in it which is a good sign of color because without the purple in the yellow it would seem kind of strange to have a totally purple section in the photo. The asymmetrical balance is obvious.

Over summer I discovered something inspiring! It allows me to expand my art and also it makes me excited to make art. My style of art is bizarre  cause i like to take something completely normal and transform it into something other worldly. The tool I discovered were a few things on a website that allowed me to take my art to another level.

This photo was initially blades of grass. With the tool I found I altered the photo and made it more intriguing to the viewer. Some elements include color, emphasis, depth, line, and movement. There are cool tones on the bottom and contrasting one tone at the top. There is emphasis and depth because the blades in the front are more detailed than the blurred blades in the back. I used line with the blades of grass and that caused movement to lead the viewer throughout the photo.

Minaqua!

When school ended me and my family left to go to Minaqua, a trip we take every year were I see friends and family I love. Going to Minaqua for my family is a yearly thing. Even though we see the same people every year at the same time, I still find the trip to be absolutley amazing. So it got me thinking about repatition and just classic thinking in general. I related this to art and how somethings never die or grow old. This made me relate music and art togeather and how they mix perfect and have been around for so long and yet they still never get old.
